Bio
More than 7 years with MikroTik products makes me an expert in all areas of MikroTik networking:
- Worked with the product as a student back in 2001
- MikroTik documentation writer, member of support team and later lead trainer (who actually started the MikroTik Training business) and CKO from 2002-2008
- Independent trainer/consultant since 2008. The only independent trainer that is qualified to perform trainers certification
Current employment and projects:
- Self-employed, owner of Serveriem.LV hosting provider
- Willing to discuss any potential employment or project opportunities, which would not interfere with my training and hosting businesses

- International High IQ Society, Member
- IEEE, Full Member
- IT&T terminology commission of the Latvian Academy of Sciences, Terminologist
- Latvian OpenSource Association (LAKA), Board Member since 2003
- Latvian Information Technology and Telecommunications Association (LIKTA), Auditor, actively participating in work groups
- Member of expert advisory group for the government structure, responsible for IT&T development (it was the Ministry of Transport first, then the State Chancellery, now - the Ministry of Regional Development and Local Government) since 2004

- Won 3rd place in the "Best Microsoft Systems Administrator" contest (held by the local New Horizons training center) without any prior preparation
